Critical Illness coverage provides a lump-sum cash benefit if you or a covered loved one is diagnosed with heart attack, stroke, end stage renal failure or another covered illness. And the benefit can be used any way you wish – for medical expenses or your regular monthly bills.
Disability insurance from Allstate Benefits pays a cash benefit to help protect an eligible individual's finances from a covered sickness or injury. Annual Open EnrollmentOctober 1-31, 2021During open enrollment, employees may change their coverage for the following plan year. Start thinking now about your current benefits and what changes you might want to make. Any changes that you make during open enrollment take effect January 1, 2022.
- You can enroll in or change your Allstate Benefits.
- Employees hired within the last 12 months, can enroll in the Allstate Benefits without medical evidence.

New Hire EnrollmentDuring the first year of employment, employees can enroll in the Allstate Benefits without medical questions.
- Benefits start the first of the following month - if enrolled on or before the 10th day of the month.
- Benefits start the first of the second month - if enrolled after the 10th day of the month.
Qualified Event EnrollmentWithin 30 days of a qualified event, like marriage or birth, employees can enroll in or change coverage for themselves or eligible family members.
